The unexpected discoveries.

Even though we are not anchored to a weekly schedule, it’s funny how one unconsciously switches to weekend mode. Instead of visiting sites, exploring parks, museums etc., we all drifted back to the van to read or nap or write blogs on the weekend.
It is probably also function of the fact that we find the van parks during the afternoon quiet and deserted. It is not always the case on a Friday night.
Caravan life has its challenges but also its advantages.

You can reach everything in a step or two. At lot of the time you don’t have to move at all. From my location at the moment I could dress a minor cut, make a cup of tea, pass the sunblock or a hat, dry my hands on a towel, answer my phone and eat a banana  - all without moving.
Cleaning the “house” takes about 7 minutes. In fact, I will not have to clean a toilet or shower for three months ( but I may want too) .
If you are not keen on the neighbours, you just move!
“Grey nomads” are really quite nice and very friendly.

I have also discovered that Georgia can entertain herself and the rest of us for an hour or so with just three hair bands and two clips.
This is very useful when travelling the distances in the car. Georgia has created several hairstyles enroute to various places. Who new!

What other discoveries shall we makes in the coming weeks?
